UV CURABLE GLOBS EFFECT INK FOR GLASS/METAL

一、特性与用途

UV金属/玻璃水珠光油是科望公司专为金属/玻璃基材开发的UV特殊效果油墨,油墨包括UV底油和UV透明水珠光油两部分,底油也可以是无色透明的,也可以彩色的。印刷了UV水珠油墨的产品表面,就像荷叶上落下了许许多多、大小不一,晶莹透亮的彩色小水珠。使 “UV水珠”具有了金属质感,晶莹透亮的小水珠立刻变成了“金属颗粒”,具有极强的艺术装饰效果。UV水珠底油光固后,透明而不浑浊,对金属有优异的附着牢度,耐弯折、耐冲压性能良好。水珠大小可控,分布均匀。

二、 工艺流程:

金属基材→丝印(300-350目)UV水珠底油UV-GM-981DIR预热(50~80)→UV固化→印刷水珠光油(100-120丝网)→IR预热(50~80)→UV固化→冲压成型。

三、 注意事项

1 丝网目数:

为了提高透明度,建议使用300-350目丝网印刷UV水珠底油,UV水珠光油以100-120目为佳。水珠大小可通过印刷网目和工艺条件控制。网目越低,涂层越厚,水珠越大,反之目数越高,水珠越小。

2 添加助剂:

为了提高油墨对基材的附着牢度及玻璃上耐水性,印刷前,必须将2% 21#添加剂与水珠底油混合均匀方可丝印刷。现配现用,用多少配多少,少量多次。

3 IR预热:

    为了加快水珠的形成,印刷好底油的基材,必须先预热再光固化,太慢或太快都会影响后续水珠效果,一般底油以4-5/分钟为佳,水珠光油3-5/分钟为佳。太慢将影响水珠大小,越慢越小;太快水珠裂不开、水珠中会出现小气泡,效果差。

4、光固机功率 

    UV底油及水珠光油透明度很高,固化较快,所需UV光能量较低,光固灯功率:280/厘米高压汞灯即可。底油尤其不能固化过头,否则容易出现黄变、脆裂、水珠与底油附着力差等不良现象。

5、 印刷环境

UV底油与水珠光油感光性很强,印刷时注意避光。


Special features and application:

       UV-GM-980 is a kind of special effect ink designed for glass/metal. The ink should be used together with UV-GI-981N which is used as a base. The base ink can be clear or colorful, and exhibits good adhesion to glass and excellent water resistance. When the glass is cut and polished, the cured film won’t fall off or become disrupt. The globs are evenly distributed and its size can be controlled.

Notes:

1、 screen-mesh-count

In order to improve the transparency, it’s advised to use screen (300-350) to print the base ink and using screen (100-120) to print the globs effect ink. The size of globs can be controlled by the count of screen mesh and produce process. When the number of screen mesh is fewer, the coat will be thicker, and then the globs will be bigger.

2、 Additives

It’s necessary to add the 21# waterproof agent (about 2 %) to the base ink before printing, in order to improve adhesion to glass and water resistance. What’s more important is that the ink mixed with 21# should be used as quickly as possible (within two hours), otherwise it may be bad.

3、 IR preheating

    It’s important to preheating the glass which is coated by the base ink before UV curing. Usually, the speed of curing is 4-5m/min to the base ink, and 3-5m/min to the globs effect ink. The size of globs depends on the speed. It will be too small when curing is too slow, and when curing is too fast, the globs may don’t appear.

4、 The power of machine

It’s enough that there are two mercury lamps (80 W/cm). The base ink should not be cured too more, otherwise it’s easy to make the base ink yellowing, disrupt, and influence the adhesion to the globs effect ink.

 5、 Environment of printing

       Avoid direct sunlight.
